Our Vision

CDC has historically achieved its mission by expanding local business operations, increasing employment opportunities, and helping to rebuild the civic fabric in South Florida communities. CDC’s ongoing vision is to strengthen neighborhoods and communities where individuals and families are empowered with knowledge, skills and resources needed to move toward personal, social and economic growth and self-sufficiency.

Our Background

Since 2008, CDC has been a nonprofit cornerstone of community development across Miami-Dade County. Operating solely for charitable and educational purposes, the organization focuses on strengthening at-risk neighborhoods and advancing housing stability. CDC fulfills its mission by partnering directly with extremely low- and low-income residents.

We are redefining support for low-income families, seniors, individuals, and people with special needs.
